Porn Film Festival Amsterdam
On a(nother) rainy Friday afternoon in Amsterdam, I'd impulsively booked a tour at the Prostitution Information Centre. I was pissed off at the incorrect, sensationalised, straight-up-bullshit sex tourism of Amsterdam and I wanted to understand the true history of the Red Light District, and modern-day sex workers.
No one else showed up to the tour so I got to spend the whole evening with a wonderful person named Bear. We'd connected through our care for sex work as an industry, our eye-rolls at the presumptions and our excitement at what this new friendship might mean.
One month later, I found myself managing the social media for Porn Film Festival Amsterdam (PFFA). Soon after, I found myself joining the organising team and now I'm a core member of the most incredible group. I currently manage the marketing and am part of the programming team.
As of today, I contribute in the following ways: social media management, copywriting, marketing, sponsorship strategy, accessibility strategy, event organising and program curating.

Industry & Community Day
As part of our second edition, we hosted a sold-out Industry & Community Day, bringing together filmmakers, performers, content creators, and activists to explore the intersections of pornography, kink, care, and digital platforms. The event featured three engaging panels, fostering critical conversations about the Dutch p/rn landscape and the evolving relationship between s/x work and the internet. We closed the day with a high-energy speed-dating session, sparking new collaborations and creative projects.

I managed a lot of the event, co-ordinated much of the day's logistics, hosted a panel discussion and facilitated the speed-dating session - ensuring a smooth, insightful, and community-driven experience while also securing additional funding for the festival.

Sponsorship
I spearheaded the sponsorship strategy - identifying, connecting with and securing local and international sponsors aligned with our values and industry. We set an ambitious sponsorship target and successfully reached it, fostering strong partnerships that supported the festival’s growth. Beyond financial contributions, these collaborations strengthened our local network, creating lasting relationships that will benefit future editions.
